Meet Dr. Nicholas Dose

Growing and Going
with Dentistry

Dr. Dose will be the first one to tell you that he’s so passionate about his patients and dentistry, that he often takes cases home with him at night where something resonates within to provide the best dental care possible.

We think it has something to do with growing up in a dental family, where he watched his father form long-lasting bonds and relationships with patients. Everyone played a part in this extended dental family.

Dr. Dose knew from a young age he wanted to pursue dentistry. He went on to graduate from Oregon State University with a B.S. in biology. He then attended Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry earning his advanced dental credentials.

Life Outside of Dentistry

Dr. Dose is a native Oregonian, born and raised in Eugene by his mother and father—a retired dentist himself. While Eugene will always have a special place in his heart, Dr. Dose always knew it was not going to be his final destination for his practice and life.

He had his hopes set on Portland, the city he loves for his diversity. Dr. Dose is also a self-confessed foodie who enjoys all the amazing culinary offerings available in Portland and Lake Oswego. You can find him visiting the newest restaurants and searching for the best IPAs.

As is the case with most Oregonians, Dr. Dose enjoys spending time in the outdoors. Some of his favorites are exploring the coasts and the mountains, fly fishing, and working on his golf game.

In his spare time, Dr. Dose likes staying active through playing sports, running, and cycling. He also enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, cooking, wine tasting, and binge-watching the latest television series or movies.

Dr. Dose has a passion for photography. You can find his prints on the office walls and he hopes to travel to new countries to capture their beauty in the near future.

He’s also a proud, loving Pop to our therapy/comfort dog named Riley.
