Updated Sterilization, Disinfection, and PPE Protocols
Inside the office, we’ve removed anything that’s not easily disinfected and conduct frequent wipe downs of all common areas, bathrooms, door handles, tables, lights, computers, etc. Once your treatment is complete, our team gets to work cleaning and disinfecting all non-disposable medical equipment using cleaner and water to pre-clean surfaces before applying an EPA-registered, hospital-grade disinfectant to frequently touched surfaces.
Special precautions will be taken when performing aerosol-generating procedures using aerosol reducing equipment. After all patients have been cared for, we clean and disinfect the office from top to bottom at the end of each day. Our entire team will also be using additional personal protective equipment (PPE) such as:
- Masks
- Respirators or ASTM Level III Masks
- Eye protection
- Face shields
- Gowns
